Founder / Executive Producer
Scott Pirnie is the founder of The Alexandria Project, a platform of the world's foremost experts in ancient and submerged history. His fascination with Alexandria deepened over two years of graduate studies in the city in the mid-1980s, building a lifelong connection to its intellectual heritage. Scott has assembled The Alexandria Project's world-class academic team and forged the key institutional and technology partnerships that make its work possible.
DR. ROBERT BIANCHI
Lead Egyptologist & Historian
Dr. Robert Bianchi is an internationally renowned Egyptologist and historian specializing in the cultural interconnections between ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman civilizations. Holding a PhD from NYU's Institute of Fine Arts, his 50-year career spans 20 archaeological excavation seasons in Egypt, curatorial posts across three continents, and more than 30 published books. He has appeared on over 120 programs for National Geographic, the History Channel, CBS, and ABC.
